SPOTLIGHT: Six Emersonians to Receive Awards During Alumni Weekend

Excited to announce that I’m getting honored and inducted to WERS’s Hall of Fame at Emerson College, where I attended grad school. I LIVED AT and FOR that radio station so imagine my surprise when I got the news!

But I wouldn’t have continued my radio journey had it not been for my roots at Norfolk State University’s WNSB Hot 91.1. Someone put the bug in my ear to audition and so I did. The rest is history and will SOON BE in the history books thanks to Emerson!

So grateful to be considered and congrats to the other award recipients receiving awards that weekend as well.
