Who is Georgette Pierre?

Radio/TV personality and writer, Georgette Pierre is a force to be reckoned with. First grabbing the attention of a program director at her college, Norfolk State University, her distinctive voice and charisma sealed the deal in 2003, thus beginning her reins as a radio personality. After entering a graduate program at Emerson College in Boston, she became heavily involved with their radio station as an on-air host, a producer, a news writer, and a music programmer. In 2009 she became a host for KarmaloopTV’s online daily show, The Daily Loop, eventually birthing her own internet radio show later that year called Off the Record with Georgette Pierre.

Since moving to New York, Georgette has interned with WNYC Radio, corresponded and content produced for music site, KillerBoombox, and web-based news service, Alleywire. She currently has bylines on Entertainment Weekly, Blavity, MTV News and VH1 and is a contributing host on Majority.FM's 2 Dope Boys and a Podcast on iTunes.

She also co-hosted and produced a nationally syndicated morning show on iHeartRadio. The most fitting transition after this was her web series on YouTube called #DearGeorgette. When her web series isn't in production, you can find her co-hosting and producing a new podcast on Soundcloud called Venting and Vino. She's also heavy on Twitter as one of pop culture’s commentators and enjoys excerpting her life on Tumblr and Instagram.
